Ray is the guy that is famous for building the old Elkin linears. Yes he is very knowledgable. The best place for repair anywhwere.

 

Hmmm, sounds like I joined 2 days late, I was up at Elkin Saturday...LOL

 

I live close by to Ray, & im just 1 of his local competitors. I specialize on customizations, but i do repairs & installations of mobiles & base stations. I am the only person with Mega Mike Modulation Technology. I can convert Mics for Mp3 Player/ Ipod plug ins, for playing music down the road.

Nothing to fill us in about. He is merely hooking a 3mm jack to the mike audio and/or with TX switching so people can drive us all insane on CH 19 by feeding the player audio into the CB mike audio line. No idea why the need to say 'I'm the only' one, anyone near radio shack could create the same annoying thing. 'Mega Mike'? Just a buzzword coined for the technically illiterate. Do not think he realizes many of us here are very good in electronics. Maybe he is running it through some form of companding like say with a NE-571 to make it even more annoying? But, whatever.

 

I took it to mean a very loud radio but your right just another music playing fool ...
