CB Shops around Charlotte, NC?

The mega mike modulation is as you put it, just a fancy name for the illiterates: yes. But its nothing to do with the music playing deal. Its more or less a NB for an outgoing signal, instead of modulating power when you speak, it increases the mike recieve when you talk & dims it down when you dont, this way your not hearing everything in the background but still putting on a show. Alot like a Noise Cancelling power mike. I never said you, you & you along with everyone else didnt know a thing, like everyone, someone knows something the other doesnt, when secrets get shared, personal ideas get added, making them better or worse. Despite your thoughts & aggressive opinions about my "young" age, you like many older folks get the same idea lodged inside your heads. Your older with more experience, yes....BUT not in everything. Im young & i know i dont know it all, but yall are older (what ever age you may be) & you dont know it all either. I can build a computer, you can build a radio. I can program a computer breaking down to a few points before binary code (0100101 for the illiterates), you can add channels as long as the antenna supports the bands. So in "short" take a moment, turn down your self applied pride & think, we all have more to learn, & we'll never learn it all. Thanks, & no hard feelings. (unless you have them to)

This may be true, but why does everyone blame the other who is also point the fingers? If yall came before the kids....then had the kids, why blame the kids? Was it not your jobs to keep the common sense going? With what is called "peer pressure" which never goes away no matter how old you are, does it always have to be a bad thing? If friends can make freinds do bad things, & make wrong decisions....is it not possible to make friends do right ones? Whether its your child, or the other. You will fail in many more ways then you know when raising your kid. But this doesnt in any way make any kid a failure. Its always been up to the parents, & it always will be. Why does half the world judge others...before they judge themselves? Thats the question that shouls be asked world wide...73's & God Bless

 

Acctually, Exit 82 is my exit...which is Jonesville. Your going to want to take the next exit heading North, i believe its exit 85...head west( left) on 268, you should come across a weird 5-way intersection about 5-8 miles west, take a left going up the hill, it will be on the left just a few building down, it will be brick & look broken down. You have found Ray's, if you pass a place called Elkin Electronic Service Center, you took the wrong left. Hope this helps.

 

Went there today. Anyone know if he's still up and running? No one at the TS seemed to know, only that his trailer is still parked there. Was all locked up and didn't look like anyone's been there for a while.

He just installed my lightbar & CB and did an AWESOME job!
im a lady pilot car driver and I would recommend him to anyone & everyone!!

The one I used to always go to was Stomper's shop at the TA in Duncan, South Carolina. I wanna say exit 163 on I85. It's been years since I've been there, and I don't even know if he still has a shop there. But he's always done right by me.

 

Duncan is around exit 63...
I have not heard Stomper in years though...

 

I talked to him on the phone.. I wanna say 2009 or 2010. I remember he said he was moving to a building next to the TA. Haven't called him back since, though.

 

the only cb place i know of in SC (only read about it, never been there) is on the southbound side of 85 at the mr waffle travel store.

 

Stomper's shop was originally Skywalker's shop... Skywalker moved north... don't remember the exit, never had much interest.
I'll try giving Stomper a call this week to see if he's still in business.
