As I posted on your thread about magnet antennas, the Wilson 1000 magnet is what I used on my F 150 for the last 9 years and couldnt of been happier with the results. Tx and Rx were excellent, setting swr was easy , with whip all the way to bottom it was 1.2, didnt have to trim any off, if I decided to run an amp the 1000 can handle more than the 300 watts I ran into it. I finally had to replace it because the magnet separated from the base only because I live in Florida and moisture would get between magnet and roof and I would constantly have to lift up antenna and dry off spot on roof. I mounted mine right in center of roof, but if I were you I would center it in the roof area behind the sunroof that way the antenna will equally be surrounded by metal.rabbiporkchop and BTShepp Thank this.

A good tech will make sure the radio is transmitting dead nuts on frequency with no bleed over on adjacent channels. You need all kinds of special equipment and know how to do this.
A bad tech will cut the AMC circuit and/or spread traps. Their soul purpose is to sell you distorted splatter that makes the watt meter go crazy and hope you'll fall for it. In reality it's not helping you at all.
A Wilson 2000 is good, the older ones before Barjan bought them out. The Sirio 5000 outperforms the Wilson.BTShepp and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
