    I like the way you have the radio installed on the dash board that must be a newer freightliner you drive .

    Yes it is. I like I there and I have a Wilson speaker hanging above it now. Also the guy I ordered from pre drills the rfx for a fan kit if you talk a lot

    Barefoot it has a 6 watt carrier and 28 peak. With it on its a 39 watt carrier and 150 peak

    I like that dash bracket. Where did you find that? Or did it come with the shaker?

    Are you using a cascadia mount on the drivers door and what type of Antenna system are you running

    Francis 5.5 ft Hotrod antenna on the perch mount...Good coax and you should be able to obtain a decent SWR.
    I ran that with a 100 watt setup and it worked well.

    The 5.5 put the antenna even with the top of the tractor when tilted slightly forward...
    I see so many guys using base or center load antennas on Cascadias and have tried them myself..
    Did not work well.

    Mirror mount on door withe a 5 foot firestick II. Ordering some kind of 7 foot fiberglass one from a guy needlebender I know and he says it'll work best, he's also a fellow driver and owns a CB shop. If you all don't know check out truck radio USA on Google play store on android phones. Got a lot of useful info from there on this from him and others. It's like a 19 on the CB
