That's interesting, especially considering the type of vehicle you were working with. I have always wondered too, about how good a CB antenna system is on a motorcycle. I've had a few bikes over the years, but I never installed a CB on any of them.

My Ultra Classic had a factory CB. I can't remember if I ever checked it or not? Seems like it had BNC connectors or something, plus you had to remove the fairing to get to it. I've never seen the range be very great on the Honda Gold Wing or the HD Ultra. About 1 mile or so was tops.
