    It's not so much it's not legal. As @kemosabi49 stated it's that it's unregulated.
    If one can find one with 0% THC in it, it's ok to use. The problem is, even if you find one, get a sample tested, and it comes back 0 THC, well that bit about being unregulated means next time you buy the same brand, it might have some THC in it, even though it claims otherwise.

    I was talking to someone that works in a pot shop (MI) a couple weeks ago about CBD and her opinion was simply don't go near the stuff for someone that gets randomed.

    Hemp was used in so many products, it was when they invented a machine that would make hemp fibers soft enough for mass producing clothes, that the cotton industry pushed to make hemp illegal. Its a glaring example of how big money can influence laws and even culture.

    Prior to becoming a truck driver, I conducted extensive research that leads me to believe that CBD without THC is significantly less therapuetic than THC in conjunction with CBD.
