Got my class A in 99 for an employer. After leaving that employerin 2001, I did not keep my medical card up to date. Became self employed in 04, got my doubles and triples and tanker endorsement on a whim in 06.
Decided to drive in April of this year. Had DOT Physical and had no issues with DMV.
My CDL was still good, but not valid until the med card was issued. -
What state?

ArkansasN00bLaLoosh Thanks this.

Can I switch my CDL permit from class A to b
-
Why? If you want to go back to a class A, you'll need to take a whole new road test. Downgrading to B is silly if you already have a class A. What would be the advantage? To save $40 on renewal???
-
Yes, when you do your road test, just do it in a box truck, you will end up with a B.
