CDL A in One Week?

Its doable, just not recommended if you plan on seeking employment with a decent company. Most places want to see that your have completed a proper course.

Of course you will find jobs that dont care whether you were properly trained or not, but if they don't care about that, what else don't they care about?.

 

i cannot believe they guarantee you a CDL in one week, just the training.

what happens if you fail the road test.....do you get a refund.>?? i dun't tink so......

$1,500 may be a good price, given that a 160 hour course can be nearly $3,000 to $4,000, but NO SCHOOL can guarantee you that CDL

 

Yeah it is doable, that's how i got mine, and that is after driving for a couple years before the CDL thing came into existence and after I let my chauffeurs license expire, I was supposed to be grandfathered i but the state issued the CDL then after almost a year revoked it because of their mistake, so I had to take a class and do a road test - $650.

but that makes you an exception to the rule....you had experience that was VERY recent. he ain't been behind the wheel in 20 years....back then, who knows how he was even tested at the DMV, compared to todays testing. many states simply DID NOT test in a uniform way as they should have.

 

What could possibly be the downside to such an easy, streamlined procedure ?

yes it is possible if your a fast learner if fact it can be done in a couple a days if your really good. However as for real experience that will only come in time.
