Felonies will limit your options slightly. You won't be able to enter Canada* or haul some loads. Depending on the type of crime you may not be able to haul hazmat or get a TWIC.
The largest problem right now is the general slowdown of freight.
Good Luck!

Sadly....Moose above is right.
It's hard to relate to just how bad is the current state of general freight.
Your lack of success at an entry-level job is not just you....or your felonies. It's the current state of freight that is arguably your biggest problem.
To sidestep all this -- and move forward with your CDL driving career -- given your location, your best bet is probably to submit full applications to (mainly) the OTR reefer carriers suggested earlier above: May, Butler, Stevens, KLLM, Frey Miller....& any others mentioned. Then follow-up the application maybe a week later, with a phone call. Reference your earlier application when you speak to whomever.
Those carriers routinely hire & train CDL rookies like you.
Reefer carriers transport mainly food, or temp-sensitive pharmaceutical products. Even in a freight slump -- the food world stays busy. Thus -- your odds of success there are basically better, for now.
Don't get discouraged! The world is always looking for people who can step up to the plate -- & be genuinely good drivers.

Don't call; submit an app. from each companies website. The short app only takes about one minute to fill out. -
Once you do score a job with a CDL carrier -- be sure to come back here on the Forum, & give us the news: when you will start, where you will begin your training, etc.
Whoever hires you should pay for your transportation to orientation & training.
