Can you get a refund for the school you just paid for? Because the answer to your question above is almost inevitably YES.

I believe I can get a refund
-
i think you are mixed up.....do you want to teach, since "you retained your teaching job"..or do you want to drive...??
you'll get a better pension from teaching than you ever will from trucking.... -
Then get the refund...if you want to try trucking later, by all means, start that adventure later. The way it is now, its only going to cost you double by 2-staging it like that.
-
I guess I will call and get my money back until I am really ready to give it a shot.... darnnn. 3700 is too much for fun and games at this point if the license would require me to do it all over again
Flying Dutchman Thanks this. -

Hope teaching works out for ya, and yes get a refund. Because even a refresher course might not help you as well as doing the entire schooling. Maybe it's because I am curious, but why did you retain your teaching job? From what I've read I thought you were pumped to drive?
-
I was pumped to drive but a position opened up at my school after I went into the surplus pool. I was almost certain that I would get dumped and end up at a horrible school at the least. Even with all the stress it was too hard to say no. I just had knee surgery as well and still require physical therapy and who knows so giving up my health insurance scared the junk out of me.

First of all you want to get a CDL
You paid for it and want to get your money back
You are hoping you wont have to pay for it again later because you are not going to be using it.
How many days ago did you pay for it?
