That's a 4 year age difference. So if she were 17 and you were 21 it would be OK? I fail to see your point. You do realize that half the women under 18 have had sex I suppose?

Maturity will usually fix temper problems, but I will warn you, being a truck driver your patience is going to be tested over and over and over. People will cut you off, merge into you, brake check you, etc. You cannot afford to let them get to you. Just think of the long run and your career. These people mean nothing.

We had a little girl here in Nashville killed back in the 60's. I bet @Chinatown remembers this. Her name was Marsha Trimble. The cops spent months trying to find her killer. They finally focused on this kid down the street that was a few years older (he was about 15, she was 10 or so). Well they could never prove anything, but they continued to harass this kid for years. Every so often they would reopen the case and bring him back in for questioning. Finally, with the advent of DNA, a guy tested positive for raping her. He was the handyman that worked around her house, and was already in prison for another crime. Very sad for both of them.

Parabon seems to be the best DNA lab in the world.
I remember some guy name of Rasmussen that was suspected of some killings of women. After he died, if I remember correctly, the case was solved. Parabon received some DNA from a crime scene and reported,
"We don't know who the killer is, but his parents are (named both parents)", which led to their child Rasmussen. The DNA was very old, but Parabon still solved the case.

I don't remember that case, but I can remember several like it over the years. The emphasis of my comment was directed more to the futility of continued hammering on convicted felons REGARDLESS of their crimes. I think everybody deserves a 2nd chance that shows they can rejoin society and become productive in it. In fact, I rather NOT live in a society that has no mercy like that. Of course, I don't want to expose children to these people. One such person, I spoke of before this Covid thing I had breakfast with 2 or 3 times a week. I told him clearly I would bust his head open with a crowbar if I even thought he would touch a child OR if I saw images on his computer. There is a middle ground here. I think it was Ronald Reagan that said once "trust but verify" you can trust these people but still watch them close. There is no need to develop diarrhea of the mouth when you come in contact with a SO. These words are my last on this dreadful subject!

It might come as a shock to you the number of personality problems that can be cured with a bit of maturity and wisdom. Kind of reminds me of the joke about the two bulls, one young and the other older and wiser. NO! I won't print it here!
