    Yep - Exit 126. Was packed in there by dark. I got in around 1900 and was lucky to find an end spot.

    What's with all these guys parking nose in to parking spaces? Too lazy or don't know how to back?

    Oh and there was a wreck in the lot. One trucker ran the right side of the trailer into the left front of a parked tractor. Big time oops.

    Now at the company designated refueling stop: the Love's in Eufaula, OK, about 450 miles from San Antonio. Drove 560 miles today and could have easily gone beyond 600 since I had 1.5 hours of drive time left, but this seemed the best stopping place for the next while. The key to tomorrow will be getting through Dallas at the right time to avoid traffic problems, so up early is the prescription.

    I lived in Dallas in the 80's & 90's; have not been there in a while. Will be interesting to drive through and see the changes. US75 Central Expressway is probably still under construction just as it was 20 years ago LOL.

    I found I44 through Missouri to be a pleasant drive - rolling hills, nice trees and geology. Although I have driven in all 50 states (in 4-wheeled automobiles), I can't recall ever having taken that interstate.

    The Oklahoma turnpike toll system is an interesting proposition. Pay $16.50 at the main toll plaza, then get a refund of $8 when taking the US69 exit 2 miles later...

    I spent a couple of days in the DFW area (in a car) back in January; like any metropolitan area, they are always working on the highways. My wife was overwhelmed at all the freeway ramps and flyovers, but I was the one actually driving. Only missed one exit and had to turn around in 2+ days on the freeways there :)

    Dang. I see that a lot though, nosing in. One guy told me its because he avoids backing as much as possible.

    I can't nose in, if I do I feel lazy and like a loser so I back. I've had many times where I nosed into a spot, then backed out, turned around and backed in. Nosing in just doesn't feel right i guess.

    hey Perpetual, kinda new here to the site, well I been looking over it awhile but just joined about a week or so ago. I introduced myself in the wagon deal or whatever its called when I joined. I have been following your thread here and pretty kool to read along to what you doing. I just received a call today and got welcomed to Roehl. I go in the morning for my physical here local and my oreatation date will be set after. Man im looking forward to this but scared at the same time. I chose Roehl based off you and a little more info I gathered here on the site. I chose flatbed basically for the workouts between driving. Anyway just wanted to finally speak on here and let you no what a wonderful job your doing by posting all the info.. I hope if everything goes good with me I will get a prostar when I get my own tractor. Take care man and keep up the super work.....

    This morning a guy was trying to blind side back for like 10 minutes, kept hitting his brakes (woke me up 0130), finally he took off and came back a minute later and nosed in. I was about to get out of the bunk and tell him to nose in before he turned around.

    You'll be coming in on 35. Not really a good truck stop there. Depending on where your load goes, you might wan to consider going 1604 east? (exit and turn left) to I10 then right to San Antone. Several good places there. Watch out going thru Universal City Cops can be bad.
