Do you know what the average pay is for a class A instructor? My fiance has about 10 years experience driving trucks and busses and was offered a job, but the amount they offered him ($13/hr) seems ridiculous! Any insight?

I am opening a Trucking School in TEXAS, I can figure out if my instructors have to take a state exam to be an instructor or just have the proper training, and experience over the road? IF AN ONE REALLY KNOW COULD YOU LET ME KNOW.....@126

I can do instructors, just need to check with Arkansas real quick.
Being a trainer might actually be better once you reach that level in your company. The salaries such as what FFE paid me to train for a few months is around a shy under 1500 net each week. -
