If you are a female you would have a female trainer. We turn our trip envelopes in at the terminals in the boxes provided there or by US Mail, no fed ex boxes etc. Just the basic blue mail boxes. You don't have to get the envelopes in the same day. They want them within a week or so though. Most of the time you will hit a terminal at least once a week to put them in a terminal box. I have never had to use the US Mail box.
And yes to all OTR trucks have refrigs. The regional trucks are issued a plug in 12v cooler. -
Oh do they provide te envelopes is it like the trip pak ones? And you just use a regular blue mailbox not the trip pak express... That's very unique. Do truck stops have the blue mailbox?!
-
And millis sounds like my kind of company'
I'm confused in reading all of that. In the second line when refering to "here", was that Werner or Millis you were talking about not wanting to work for? Sorta sounded like you got excited for Millis, then lost it, then got it back. Just trying to understand the posts. -
By the way the other two I couldn't figure out how to show as direct quote other than the way I posted them, I sure they look familiar though.

Do they let you go on hometime after training?? For like a couple of days?!
-
No I would never work for Werner... I would deffinately work for millis! They sound awesome!

I don't understand the whole not using trip pak r transflo thing? Do they pay u before they have te bills in hand and are the envelopes post marked?
-
Sounds like the it would be better to hold on to the paperwork if needed for a day or 2 so when you go by a terminal, you can just drop it off instead of waiting for the post office. As long as you get it in before pay day, I don't see the problem with getting paid the same week. I think some loads linger into the following pay week though. Like if you start on a load the last day of the pay period and it takes another day to deliver, you won't see that pay will be on another check.
I don't know personally know about Werner, only what I've heard and read. I don't know if your basing your thoughts on just your boyfriends' experience. If I may mention, you could also look on youtube. There are 2 drivers I consistently follow and only one that I actually respect. One used to drive for them and the other still. Trainerjames2013 and thelittleguytrucker. That may help you in your decision as well, unless your minds made up. I'm probably going to Millis myself last week of may. I'm working on paying the seating fee.
