Thank you @Chinatown, I appreciate it. I saw the other thread with @BigHossVolvo, and will start contacting companies. Who knows, maybe I will love it in Canada!

Coming from Denmark, you will be used to the totalitarian socialist ######## and insane taxes. We can still have some pretty cool guns here tho, and lots of space.

The best company for European/Scandinavian guys, is prob either Challenger, Agri-Fresh, Bison or Maybe Arnold Bro's. These are generally not great companies (Except Challenger, its pretty good, just not in BC), but they are a good starting point to get over here. As long as you don't do anything stupid, like going lease or trying to be an Owner Op with them should be ok. Just drive their company trucks, and do your thing.

Westcan, Gardwine, Day and Ross, TransX, Trappers, Highlight, Turk, Rig, Lightspeed and especially H&R (What's left of it) are not worth your time, but are trying like hell to recruit overseas (for a reason).

Haha, you're absolutely right, why do you think I want to move so bad? Don't really care about guns, but I love the space and trucks you guys run, so I feel like it's better to move, than live in this miserable country.

Thank you, I appreciate the help with companies! Yeah, they are a good starting point for a foreigner when it's not possible to prove driving experience in NA. Hopefully, in the future, I can get to do some cattle hauling, as I have always been fascinated by those guys.

That's easy, Steve's Livestock Transport, prob 60% Euro guys working there, all the cattle hauling you can handle. My Ops Manager actually came over to drive for them back in 2008, so yea they def hire from overseas.

Also, never hurts to have guns ;)

That's perfect. Seems like exactly what I've been looking for.

True about the guns, maybe in the future :D

Since the passing of the Hart Cellar Act in the 60's immigration from Europe has been practically halted in favor of South America nearly exclusively.

Your best bet is to find an employer willing to sponsor you on a work visa but there's a very high chance the employer will rip you off and treat you like a slave.

You want to fast track it? Move to any South American country. Get citizenship. Then come to the USSA as a Mexican, Guatemalan, El Salvadorian etc etc.

What's so bad about Denmark? I'm always interested in hearing why people want to leave their native lands.

I would love to fast track it, but that sounds a bit crazy in my opinion, haha.

I just don't feel like this is where I want to end my days, as I disagree with most people who live here, I disagree with most politics, and am tired of a the public sector wasting my taxes on ########. In Denmark, a lot of people are jealous of you, if you have a good job, a nice house, a nice car and so on. I realise the grass is probably not greener on the other side, but I bet I would live a better life in the US, even though we have some great benefits in Denmark.

I've always been fascinated by the US, and always said I would live there. I love everything you have, especially your trucks and that you actually care about your freedom. This is not the case in Denmark.

Thanks for sharing. Sorry to say, it's no different here. Remember the grass always looks greener on the other side. I have so much more to say but it would get me in trouble with the mods.

I guess it's the same all over. Oh well, at least I will be living in a beatiful country, driving a nice Peterbilt and having the time of my life. One day
