You got to know when to shift em
    Know when to drift em
Know when to double clutch and
    know when to pop
You should never count your miles
while you're drivin down the highway
There'll be time enough to count em
    When the drivin's done

    Lepton1 and morpheus Thank this.

You should do that as soon as you can. You do not want any restriction on your CDL. I blame the CDL school for not teaching you standard shift. The way it should go is learn the standard transmission then go to Auto's. However, these cheap schools see a way to shorten their course by just teaching the Auto's and leaving the student out in the cold if the company he wants to go to has standards.
