CDL road test tomorrow

    Whelp, the inspection report was out of date on the trailer, so I have to go back. I saw the inspection report, that was stapled to the 2019 registration along with a current inspection sticker, but I didn't notice that the date was 2015 on the inspection report:rolleyes:

    Now the dock foreman is scrambling because he doesn't seem to have any of the paperwork correct on the trailers. I'm waiting until they get it figured out to reschedule...bummer. I have been studying almost non stop the past few days, too

    That is unfortunate.....is this place you are trying to get a trlr from , the place that will also be hiring you once youve gotten the CDL ? If it is .....grab an '"" out of service " tag - if they have those, and wait for a good trlr to be emptied out, and parked......then, write up the trailer as having some false issue.....lol drivers needing an empty will see the RED TAG that u put there and look for another trlr.....then go down for it.......

    But let mgmnt in on the plan......its just to keep desperate drivers from picking it up and taking it for a pick up zomewhere.......and yes, drivers will still take it even if you tell them its being " "reserved" for a road test......

    Maybee attatch the tractor to the trailer and leave it parked together - attatched......

    So, the next appointment date at any DPS(DMV in most states) within 50 miles is March 1st.
    I can drive 140 miles and get in by Feb. 6th, but I'm not sure they will want me taking the truck and CDL driver that far.

    I'm trying to find out if there are other options right now. What about 3rd party testers?

    3rd party place? I didn't even know that was an option until a guy at work just mentioned it. He's trying to get ahold of the person who does the testing now.
