CDL student based in Tampa, FL

Hey everyone! Great forum first post here. Hope everyone is surviving the coronavirus ok.

I’m currently in driving school will graduate end of April with manual capability. I’m based about a hour out from Tampa.

I have a felony for trafficking controlled substance (steroids), money laundering federal level. I served a 24 month sentence 17 months prison/3 halfway/2 house arrest. I’m currently on probation it is low level and my officer is willing to let me travel since I’m a low risk offender.

I’m hoping you guys could point me in a direction of a good solid company that hires second chance felons that are willing to work hard. I have read a lot of horror stories about a lot of companies. I’m willing to put in the time but I would rather start with a company that is respectable and treats everyone fairly. I would really appreciate everyone’s feedback. Thank you so much!

Also do you know if I would pass hazmat background Secuirty check I have read mixed messages.

 

No I do not meet with him I fill out a report online once a month.
