Hi Guys,
It is driving me nuts—I need to know how the backing maneuver is graded for the CDL Test in Florida.
You cannot have more than 8 points? Each encroachment (hitting a boundary) is 2 points? You get two free pull-ups, and each after is 1 point?
Thanks!

That's odd. Usually, doesn't matter how many pull-ups you do as long as you finally make it without hitting anything. That's supposed to be about safety, not speed.

Took my next test in Kansas for my first trucking job and again, safety-first, number of pullups didn't matter.RustyBolt Thanks this. -
I vaguely vaguely remember being told only 2 pullups in TN's test but that could be from from all the posts on this forum and not 30 years ago. I can't be sure. In real life, pull up 50 times, if necessary. I literally had a few real-life parking attempts at customers take me 45 minutes. I'm not proud of them, but I didn't hit anything.
