    You know, I am so glad I found this forum... You guys shoot from the hip and don't treat us newbies like crap! I can definately respect that!!

    My dad has driven truck for years and talked about the good ole' days and things like "old school training"... I hope to meet some of you guys on the road someday and pick your brains of "old school knowledge"!!

    Old school dies out there too son. The way you become old school is you stay alive. Fleet managers call old school drivers fear mongers and hell fire preachers. The eighty thousand pounds will squash you like a bug. If you feel uncomfortable then shut it down.

    i am going to be training soon and was wondering what are some of the reasons why new drivers are gone after 12 months.......
