CDL Training @ TMC

I received my job offer a couple weeks ago. Shout out to Dawn (my recruiter) for keeping me up past midnight helping with my application while I'm deployed.

I had a domestic abuse charge in which I got a deferred judgement and was expunged from my record 12 years ago. Can that cause problems? Will TMC find this out if I didn't admit it on my pre-hire.

 

If it was truly expunged, no, you would not need to disclose it. An expungement means that for all practical purposes, the conviction no longer is on your record, and you need not reveal it on job applications, etc. It's like it never occurred.

 

I got my prehire letter today! Getting super pumped up. Looks like I will be starting March 6th. Im a 32 year old just getting out of the army. I'm doing the CDL program. Never drove semi before and I'm worried about backing. How much time do they spend on this anyone know? Is there anyone currently in the program that can update us on how's it going?

 

I'm an Instructor in Des Moines, you will spend quite a bit backing, so dress warm
