    Are there actually non profits out there that just give you free cdl training? Seems unlikely. Might be some tax payer funded options with the state or county offices but your best bet is with one of the carriers who have schools and indentured servitude for a period.

    Goodwill Industries pays for cdl school. Students don't drive for Goodwill after graduation, so can go anywhere they want.

    Check with your state's community college system. They have loans, subsidies and grants.

    Just new about 2 weeks ago PRIME INC made an announcement of increasing their trainee pay from $700 to $800 a week before taxes as a A seat driver and $800 to $900 as you transition to from A seat driver to B seat driver during training. Just food for thought.

    I'm not FL but I was able to attend school w/a scholarship from a local college. I like not having to sign away X amount of time to a company.

    I've heard several drivers got their CDL through Goodwill at no cost.
