With jim palmer and wil trans the insurance won't let them hire without a 3 year license but prime only requires one year. I have prime running my information now. I also applied to kllm just waiting on the college they go through now. They may need my high school diploma but I did have the college transcript sent from my dual credit classes

I talked with a recruiter and they do provide 3 meals a day lodging and a bus ticket to Indiana. I am also a Mississippi resident and looking to work for them as well.

I'm scheduled and surprised to be going to the academy on Sept.6., finally got accepted somewhere after being turned down so many times. How was the first day?

Start out company driver for at least 6 months to a year before you get into any lease if you don't have at least 5000$ in the bank for your "business".. its the ONLY way, in my opinion to do the lease thing the least stressfully. Its hard enough learning the ropes in the road and adjusting your life to your new career without the added stress of trying to run a small business and be successful.. just my opinion..
I've seen a lot of success with our trainees with Celadon who go to our school.. it's a well thought out program that gives anybody the basics to become a successful driver if they choose to be.. Good Luck and best wishes to ya! :):)
