i don't "see" where all the employee's will even get thier last paychecks, on pay day. in bankruptcy all payments stop, if i recall, and creditors are paid off, or an accounting is done to determine how much is owed. this will take some time, before ANYONE gets a red cent out of Celadon's bank accounts.
Celadon closing up shop!

I don't work for Crete anymore so I don't stand to benefit in any way by saying it, but I 2nd this. I spent 12 years with them & they're a top notch company. I ended up buying a truck through them & came to Landstar 6 months ago. If I were to remain a company driver, I never would have left Crete, I'd retire there.Jarhed1964, thisisamazing and CMBreen Thank this.

I dont see how that pertains to what I wrote, but what I do know is that if you signed the bill of laiding for a load you ARE responsible for it. Get it where it needs to be and get out of dodge. If you cant get fuel call the shipper and see if they will arrange something for you so you can get the load where it needs to be, then get as close to home as possible and start over.Jarhed1964 Thanks this.

I'm not a recruiter, Im a driver and my wife travels with me. And who cares if we have alot Freightliner Cascadias, we also have Prostars and some KWs. Drivers are still able to make money driving them.
