Considering career as company driver (at least to start). Question is what division to consider.
I understand a lot of flatbed truckers are L/P or O/O, but have seem some CD positions as well.
Why would a person want to consider being a flatbed driver with the extra work involved in securing/tarping a load as opposed to a dry van, reefer or curtained trailer?
I see a lot of flatbeds with what looks like small loads on them, ie doesn't take up much of the trailer. Do those loads pay less?
Like I said, green to this industry. Looking for inmormation. Thanks all.
