Jon( the owners son) who took over after the previous non family management tried to move way to much into the lease operations; was in banking before he took over the company when all that crap hit the fan. If anyone can figure us out of this mess: it’s him; and so far he’s been keeping the company moving in a good direction; in my opinion..
The first few weeks i was sweating buckets. That was every penny in my toy fund. But once things settled it did nothing but keep climbing. I even sold at 2.25 then bought right back later that well for 2.12. very very glad i did. Making 10k was great. Making 80k even more fantastic. I'm fairly certain its leavened of ands is going to stay near the 7.50 mark for quite a while. Now I'm watching for the next trucking company to buy in. I am by no means some stock market playboy, but i know trucking. It's all I've done for over 20 years. I've seen many companies go under, and seen many have a rough tumble and listened to everyone say they were going to go belly up soon only to watch them recover and bounce right back. Id like to think i learned something over those 20+ years and hoping to be able to spot the difference.
Isnt he the exec who said they was getting away from owner operators and refocusing on moving freight with company trucks? Paraphrasing here "owner operators under utilise equipment and drive empty miles on our trailers up to unacceptable levels".
You don't acquire assets by making loans to keep the company afloat. You do that by pushing them into bankruptcy then making a ten cent on the dollar offer to the trustee. What does "liquidate the subsidies" mean?
As of this exact moment they are at 7.55$ the highest point since mid march. Id say they are doing just fine.
Why are you being such a pain? Were You a contractor failure? I’m doing really well.. staying put... good luck with whatever makes you happy... ugh
This is probably accurate. Edit: yep. A quick search reveals another failed quality lease guy that willingly signed up for a high weekly truck payment and buck a mile freight.
I am a entrepreneur a successful college graduate MBA with a employee that drove for CGI and felt as though he was taken. After a investigation into the matter we decided his claim is valid. This will be my last post in this site. Thanks recruiter
