Isn't there a class action against them for pocketing some of the fuel discount?

Yes. They actually lost then petition to have the case moved to Federal Court. There is also another case pending about the misclassification of the old owner operators.

The current agreement that I'm under is worded completely different from the old contract. Your guaranteed the "cash" price at the pump and a "rebate" (in other words what ever they feel like giving you that week). You don't get the PFJ discount they get.

There is also a $3.00 fee for every time you swipe their Comdata card.

In Month A I spent $4,245.29 (4 weeks) in fuel and got a "rebate" of $69.42 back.

In month B running the same lane I spent $2,789.19 (4 weeks).
I only fuel at the mom and pops or places like Quicktrip, Sunoco ect. and PAY CASH.

    Savings per month: $1,456.10

Even if I brought a shower twice a day at PFJ I still come out cheaper then using Celadon's Comdata card filling up only at the PFJ for that fancy "discount".

Watch the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.

Wow, that's about all I can think to say.
I believe they recently yanked their wage lock and Christmas bonus programs too. I heard the bonus was canceled with little notice, weeks before the holiday even though they knew about it around June. They ran a tier system for that so I know drivers had to be pissed, to work towards that bonus and have it swiped away right at the finish line. I know some will say not to count on a bonus but this was updated weekly and many of them made a real effort to receive it. Regardless, a real douche move on their part. Didn't really help with the driver retention issue they are blaming in part for the current crisis..... Imagine that.

WERNERDON? I think it has a nice ring to it.

I seriously doubt anyone buys them out.

They will be the next ghost of trucking past.
