Just remember mobile hot spot cost monthly, pda net was a 1 time fee of 40 bucks and uses my data, so far no issues with Verizon questioning my HUGE data usage. :biggrin_2556:

Maybe I misunderstood the verizon rep . He said he hotspot phones use the phone's data plan even when on laptop through it thus the unlimited plan would work well for me. If not I will go your route as I plan on my laptop being my lifeline to family while OTR.

3G Mobile Hotspot costs 20 bux a month for 2gb. I use it out on the road when I cant get a free signal. I have an HTC Droid Incredible n love it. Can do just about anything I need it to do

Hmf;; Get Verizon and a Smart phone either an android/blackberry or if possible any other smart phone; get the 50 Dollars Unlimited Plan; And tether it to your laptop so your laptop uses the phone's internet access so you are only paying 50 dollars for Internet access for your phone and laptop as well as unlimited texting and calling; :)

Oh your looking for droid phones?

Use Boost; It's on Sprint's Network (Owned by Sprint) ... there's Android and BB and 50 Dollars as well for Web/Text/Call (I would say use Straighttalk but that doesn't have BB or Android)

    Sprint Network Sucks though :p

Right about the time you REALLY need that network connection to talk to say RA about a problem your truck is having or for a manditory live load call in BFE is usually the point where Sprint and AT&T won't give you a signal. The internet connection (no matter how I get it) is a business tool for me - and its nice for entertainment. That cell connection is critical.
