Every network has dead spots. ATT & Verizon have fewer or smaller dead spots than the other networks. My Verizon was good in most places except some deep valleys in MT or vast desert regions of OR and AZ. I like the peace and quiet.

I had one set up at one of my rural houses where I got really bad service, and it worked really well. It came with U-bolts that fit perfectly over a load lock, then I stuck the load lock between the roof and the ground and pointed it towards the tower. If your truck has the spot to put load locks on the back of the sleeper, you could probably use that and then point it towards the tower with the best signal.

in many rural areas there simply is no tower and no signal .
I have two phones, one personal and one work phone and one is Verizon and one is AT&T
my hunting shack has a half bar ,it’s in the mountains , back in a cove and there simply isn’t any signal and that’s it . And that’s if there’s no storm or no clouds or whatever to block the signal , and in the summer when the leaves are all on the trees , it’s even less signal .
I’ve been to lots of rural job sites that have zero signal .
None .
The nearest signal is 10 or 15 miles away.dwells40, tscottme and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -
The stationary version has a directional antenna that you have to aim at the tower
And the apps that show the tower locations are useless in mountains .
thw nearest tower at my shack is not the one the signal comes fromdwells40, Big Road Skateboard and loudtom Thank this. -

Knowing the areas where the OP runs a booster may help in some spots but there will still be areas in the NW where you simply don’t have service.

I get it. The booster can't create what ain't there. No biggie. Lot's of places I park have 1 or 2 bars of 4G, but i can't get a call in or out.
I could care less either way, but my family want's to be able to reach me more consistently. In the end, I wanted some advice from driver who use them. I don't care about it enough to go look through some tech forum about things I ain't into.
Will it boost my 1 bar of 4G where a call can get in? Sounds like it will, and it's deductible.
Good enough. I'll let yall know how it works. Thanks for the replies -

I don't recommend att
There service has been severely lacking as of late. And I'm local.
I was hoping my new phone would be better but it's not. Even my tablet sucks. Ended up buying a newer tablet through Verizon. I may switch my phone over to them.
Course
I'd lose my free HBO. Not that I watch it anyways.Big Road Skateboard and dwells40 Thank this.
