Well, I have to wonder if Verizon was just down when you went through there, or was this a number of times. I've never been on 385 from from I-76 to Holyoak or on down to Wray. But I have been through both towns on 6 and 34, and it worked for me there. Again, it's been years though.

my verizon phone doesn't work in the western half of nebraska. or the virginias.or oklahoma. unless i'm on the 44. along with the other usual spots.
my sprint phone however. does. and they're both the same old models.Big Don Thanks this. -
Hmmmm, perhaps my memory is bad here? Nah, couldn't be. . .

-
what does your memory have to do with cell phone receptions?
not every phone one carrier has works the same as the other phones by same carrier. i just stated MY experience with MY phones. which happen to be the same model. by diferent carriers. -
Uh-remembering where the phone did or did not have service. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it has been years since I've been in eastern Colorado or western Nebraska. But as I remember it, I had good coverage in those areas.
-
I find that strange because with Samsung Note 4 on Verizon service I can go anywhere in Nebraska,.. no signal loss from Chyenne Wy all the way through to Council Bluffs. I've cut down through Kansas to Texas,.. again,.. no signal loss at all.
The only place I really have an issue with Verizon signal is in parts of southern WV and parts of TN,.. usually in the mountains,.. to which I would surmise,.. no one else has a signal either. Oh,.. and a few places in UT on the outskirts of Moab I had some signal issues.
At least I am honest about it. No Verizon signal in western NE? Come on,.. I can park anywhere from Kimbal to Grand Island,.. even middle of no where places like Broken Bow and Ainsworth I have LTE signals.
No,.. just seems that you like to to take cheap stabs at Verizon every chance you get. To be honest,.. its getting a little long in the tooth. I travel the same areas that you do and have posted Verizon data signals showing 20 - 40 mb/s network signal strength from areas that you claim Verizon has poor to no service. For those who dont understand,.. 20-40 mb/s is faster than any DSL internet service,.. and faster than most home cable internet services unless they have the upgraded service tier.
Verizon is not with out flaws,.. but compared to the rest. They have the best signal coverage area, 2nd to none. Believe me,.. I would love to find a cheaper service provider with the same or better quality of service. I have not found any.
We understand,.. you dislike Verizon. Thats cool,.. just come out and say that. Man up.
I dislike Sprint and anyone who asks,.. I will state my case as to why. Which is a variety of reasons,.. not least of which were signal quality and signal coverage area issues.

truckon Thanks this. -
You have limited to zero service.. I've spoke with sprint about it.. They've said they're working on it.. Sprint works besr in metro areas
Seems tracphones are ok on service areas if locked to their service, ive used a cheapy a few years now... but tracphone gsm or unlocked phones that require a sim card are locked in to the specific company that sells the phone for tracphone users.. Verizon, Sprint, AT&T etcLast edited: May 18, 2015

Wilson electronics, now WEBOOST has a good unit for mobile use.
I have used one in the truck for years. Have had signal in places no one else can.
Works on phone and data. -
Wilson/WeBoost products suck. the Maximum Signal unit will blow that Wilson product right out of the water.
