Otter box.
I’ve dropped mine from the cab multiple time. Not a scratch on it. Works great.magoo68, LoSt_AgAiN, Diesel Dave and 2 others Thank this. -

The girl at the counter ask her where she had bought her new phone. And was blown away to find out it was over a year old. It’s that good. -
OTTER BOX ! LOOK NO FURTHER !
Ive had Defenders but they are all great - I get em on ebayLoSt_AgAiN, stacks, bigguns and 2 others Thank this. -
I bought Zagg glass to put over the screen. It gets cracked. Contact the company and they willl send a new one. I put the glass on before I bought the Otter Box. I had trouble using the touch screen-no response. I went into setting and changed the sensitivity of the screen. That helped but still not great. So I took a razor knife and removed the clear plastic from the Otter Box. No longer waterproof but I have a clearer screen w/o plastic over it. Just relaying the experience. When needed I will buy another Otter Box in a heartbeat. And a Zagg glass. My phone takes too much unintentional abuse.
stacks, Diesel Dave and SteerTire Thank this. -
Yeah. Otter Box makes the best. But it will add some size to your phone but you won't get any better overall protection. The built in clear cover over the screen allows good touch accuracy. Not 100% but still rarely a problem except occasionally right out on the extreme edges. Occassionly I will find myself touching a link twice to get it to recognize
I use the model with the snap-in holder (Defender?) for my iPhone 8+. You can also still stick a Steelie Magnet to the cover and a ball to your dash
And these allow you to mount on a dash where you made need some clearance to get out away from gauges or other things in the dash area you have available, and are available at Loves. Get the bigger one (for tablets) if you have a bigger phone.

I use an otter box commuter. It’s thinner than the defender but I’ve dropped my phone tons of times.
stacks and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
Also buy this phone mount. It’s a magnet with 3m stick in the other side. Put the magnets between your phone and the phone case so everything is hidden. This bad boy keeps my big phone from moving even a mm in the worst dirt roads.
