Brake fade is my guess. Driver stayed on the brakes too long until there were no brakes.
    Condolences to next of kin

One of Cemex’s Dallas Cowboy Helmet painted trucks just sacking a quarterback.

Wow! The minute that mixer started going downhill he was off to the races at that point and he was probably looking for somewhere to ditch the truck. Unfortunately that didn’t happen.
    R.I.P.

I can’t believe how quickly that mixer sliced thru the trailer!!

and "they say", there is never a cop around when you need one..

that cop was right there at the end.

if the cement driver died, RIP.

i wonder why he took the highway, knowing it had downgrades, rather than taking surface roads?

    Coffey and lovesthedrive Thank this.

Possibly to avoid traffic congestion or possible interference from DOT?

well i dunno...seems to me, that if it is fully loaded, and he knew of the grades why go that way? also too, i wonder his experience level? a recent CDL grad? or a recent highway trailer driver, with less than 1 year experience?
