I have been fortunate enough to get on with a local company here in Michigan. I was able to use my past 10 years with the military driving tanks, jeeps and trucks and railheading. They required 2 years OTR experience. I feel very fortunate. Looking forward to hauling my first load down to Arizona as my road test.
I will be mainly out for one week at a time, which is exactly what I want. I will be flatbedding, I can't wait.
