I'm almost back to WestValley City. Should be arriving on Friday the 13th at 0100. My 33rd day with 240 drive hours. Rather disappointed with my DM when I requested last Thursday to be back to Utah Sunday or Monday and they had me in New JerseyTuesday. Oh well, not worth getting excited about.

I emailed them and sorta setup the upgrade timing in advance. Hope to be accepting my first load Friday PM or Saturday.

Made it back. Had to run 1,000 miles to get here today but I'm glad to say this is going to be my last sleep in this mess of a truck.

Sleeping in my red 2012 Freightliner with a 9 speed. Hoped that we got to go choose our own truck from the unseated lot where I was eying a couple Peterbilts but oh well.

You don't get to choose. But depending on you're trainer. They can usually get you what you want. When I upgraded. Mine had me all set up with a brand new freight shaker. But then they decided to fly me to another terminal to take a truck. But I was ok with it because it had a 13 speed.
