Hey chompy I been working harder than I was with my trainer never late did not refuse any load repowers didn't say anything when they sent me in the opposite direction they haven't heard a complain from me. And I knew that it is hard being a truck driver Im familiar with this industry but you telling me that cant ask for home time because Im new its stupid no matter how experienced you are.

central rookie as you can see there are alot of people on this forum that do nothing but put people down. dont even try and talk to him. you know why you became a trucker. and you know what you want out of it. all i can tell you is stay safe no tickets and get your year in.

    Sharing the road with you.
"sorry that you feel that way." Guess I will have to cry a little tonight.....NOT!
    I would hate that too!
Sorry if I misunderstood, 'cause that is sure the way it came across.
There it is....personal accountability. You are making progress.
If this thread had been titled, I failed my road test at Central, and started with that last paragraph I would have seen it completely different. I suspect that others would have as well. You would have gotten a completely different response. That seems to be a much more appropriate paragraph.

Well spudman you don't have to do anything. I will say it again if you are a newbie and you fail that road test it will be difficult for you to get another job driving otr

Shawn you can retract the comment because we are not putting anyone down. If you are afraid of what is being put on your DAC just wait until you go to swift! You are complaining about not being treated fairly and you just go back and pet the snake again! One time I filled out an application with Swift and was accepted. Though I never set foot on any of their properties on my DAC they put they hired me then fired me! This crap happens! If you cannot emotionally deal with it I would strongly suggest you get out now before it costs you any more time and money. Personally from reading your posts I don't believe otr trucking is for you. You could prove me wrong though. In your current position your absolute best bet and chances of success will be to go to a smaller carrier. These mega-carriers don't care if you succeed or not and will just steam roll right over you to the next newbie. Of course what do I know? There
is a good reason they have to spend millions of dollars in advertising to get YOU to work for THEM!

Centralrookie despite the fact you have way more experience and knowledge then I do I can tell you for a fact why you are sitting! Have you read all the other threads on this forum from the Central newbies? They are all averaging at the very least 2500 a week! YOU ARE NOT DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!!! You are either dragging butt, pee'd someone off, can't run your log, etc... This is what trucking companies do to drivers that have these problems. You will sit and sit and sit and your miles per week will get less and less and less until you are forced to quit. My advice to you would be to straighten this problem out ASAP with your DM, ask for another DM, or find another job my friend. Now you can whine about the advice I am giving you or cry about us putting you newbies down or whatever, but those are the facts. The advice above may just help you save your job.

    Good luck!
