No. This is my first driving gig. Greyghost was something one of my brothers came up with for my handle. Then we came up with a better one after I made this name on here. And it won't let make a new name cause of the email, but I go by Rusty Bumper now and its on the door of my truck in 1 inch gold letters. Hey, anyone got a 1500 to 2000 watt power inverterthey are willing to give up? Or know of the best place to pick one up at?

Grey, they got em over at wally world, I believe black and decker.. If I'm not mistaken.. 1500 watts for 75.99.. But I got a tip for ya.. Usually if you can hook it up yourself its better.. But if you feel more comfrontable with central doing it.. I think its 150 to install.. Plus they do keep records of ones they install and compare to trucks that alts go out or have problems with charging system.. But anyho.. Buy a big set of jumper cables and use that wire to wire it up.. They'll hold quite the constant voltage.. Just a tip..

If he is saving money on a walmart inverter, he should spend a little more for a good wiring kit. With a proper fuse within a few inches of the battery connection.
Many if the issues people have with inverters causing fires is because it rubs where it passes metal coming into the cab, they do not use proper grommet's, and it shorts, but the fuse is not next to the battery so it burns.
Also add up the amps of everything you will put in the truck. And find an inverter that has those amps in the middle of it's range. Not at the top.

    Handles......
It use to be all handles were given to people not made up.
I had several over the years.
In the Army they called me Grape Ape. Since a few days after getting into Germany I wore a shirt out dancing that faded and died me purple lol.
Next was at my first driving job. I was the youngest one working at the company by at least 30 years. They decided I had to be one of the little rascals, but was not good enough to be any of them, so named me Pete after the dog.

ChromeDome was one that I made up. I do not use it on the radio much since it was not a given name. I use it here because it was a name I used in several online games.

Well, here we go again. What should've been a preloaded is not! Now I get to wait 4 - 5 hours before I can get loaded. Thank you n/w for the bad info!

Well, I mean I just would rather use the jumper cables.. I figured he knew about using a good gromet when he finds his entrance into the cab for the wires.. Then I would go to a audio store.. And buy a fuse set up for a 1500 watt system but make sure its the dual fuse set up, can't be to careful.

Psst.. I get to my 99.. Check in.. And I get back out to the truck with a appt change done.. Apparently I don't deliver till 0700 tom.. Dunno what goes thru these peoples minds.. I'm pretty sure if they don't come up with a viable explanation.. I'm prolly done with this job altogether.. I'm tired of everyone else making it and I keep getting the short end of the stick.

Well, I got "stuck" with a 900 mile run from May 27-Jun 1 that went down I-70 through MO. Ended up finding a very secure location to park and spend time with my brothers and my dad ( WWII Vet in home). Got to to 99 they let me drop. Went to 01-and they took me early. Have all day tomorrow to go 330 miles. OK, What is the payback?

Set camp for the night at the TA south of Nashville. Finally left my 99 4.5 hours later. Got a nice 44K load to haul down I24 to Atlanta. After I hit the road my new FM calls me askin why I'm 2 days late on the load, arghhh. Had him go back thru the messages to see that when I was assigned the load on Monday it was already late. If I deliver or drop tomorrow it's a 3600mi week.

DM... did ya get my text saying the TA in Albert Lea was what you're looking for (besides more miles, better MPG, and a cooperative truck of course).

Was watching a CR England driver attempt to park in a not to difficult spot. Over the radio another driver says "Swift! Swift! If you park there how do you expect us to get out of here?" CRE says "say again?" The other driver repeats. CRE says "sorry I'll move" and looks for another spot. Another driver behind him takes the spot before CRE can circle back around. BTW that was the last open spot at the moment.
    1) you should know what company you drive for!
    2) if you're parking in a legal spot between 2 other trucks, how could you block someone in?
    3) he never got out to see if he was gonna block someone in

Shortly after a couple walks up to my truck and asks if I can help a fellow driver out. Each were holding a large cup of coffee and the gal was holding a bag of something from the TA. Ummm... really? Ya got coffee and something else, if ya needed something else more important maybe ya should have skipped that stuff, huh!

Was in a walmart in Nebraska last week. The cashier was frustrated by the time I got to her and was last in line. When her previous customer was out of earshot she says to me "I'm really beginning to hate people!" So I reply "ya me too! That's why I work alone. Maybe ya should seek another line of work." She tilts her head, brushes her bangs from her eyes and says with all seriousness, "Yeah... I guess I should."
