I had an air line where 2 hoses were rubbing, and one was rubbing a groove in the other. This is to the main brake canister on my drives. I was red tagged 3 times, and every time they told me it wasn't a problem, or they couldn't find it.

2 weeks after the last red tag, it rubbed through, and I found it, and had to have it fixed at a TA.

I have mine somewhere, I wore it out. The zipper won't work anymore. I could get it replaced, but I don't want to wear Central branded stuff. I don't like being approached by other Central drivers that much.

Load Locks, at the end of the month, get on the CB at a truck stop and ask if anyone has any load locks for sale.... you can "most of the time" pick some up for $5 to $10 each....

Funny thing-- I still have 2 load locks and they go way back to the Simon Days.

Like Chromedome, I turned my truck in with 4 load locks. Just kept collecting them even tho I wasn't trying.

The problem is, you really can't use them for anything else, so they've been sitting in the shed. Maybe I'll try to give them to the next Central driver I see.

Get some good metal polish first. You need to earn it.
Get it nice and smooth. Do not want her getting worn hands or dirty.

    Lady K Thanks this.
