Home? What's that? I was supposed to be home a week ago but I guess there's nothing headed my direction. Unless the route from Stockton, CA to Needles, CA is through Portland, Denver, Dodge City, Laredo (there now), and Dallas. I'm just hoping that my wife still recognizes who I am. (I think I had one when I left home!)

####! I sure miss the late home time pay!

    ####.
They dropped the late home time pay too.
They are snipping out almost every decent reason to go there.
Heck, they would drop the safety bonuses also I am sure, accept it is easy for them to lower your miles a hair at the end to make sure you do not get it anyway.

Hardly anyone gets the Safety Bonus anyway at the moment with miles sucking!

There have been a lot of changes at Central and none of them good:biggrin_25513:

You finish your upgrade yet JDTTrucker?????

I've been with this company a year now, and for the most part, they have been real good about getting me home when I put in for it. Don't have to worry bout idle either since they do have APU's on all their trucks. For all you Central groupies, NO, I don't work for them!!!

Well I'm as close to the house as I'm going to get for 8 to 10 hrs. Am NOT going to call the bro to come pick me up at this time of night.

So i'm sitting here watching TV, unable to sleep (although the mountain dew I'm drinking probably doesn't help) excited about school, but I got to thinking. Driving for 10 hours a day...I'm going to need music. Does Central truck's radios have an AUX input for my ipod? I'm sure radio stations go in an out through the sticks.
Also...I know it is different for everyone...but on average, how's the mileage now? Just wondering. Back to studying my CDL book.
