Like someone said in another thread, if you run all loads given and never refuse a load you will get 3000 miles a week:biggrin_2559: Hmmmmmmmm wonder if she still thinks that:biggrin_2552: Nah don't think she does as no one has heard from her in months.

Let's see where to start. First the good stuff. Go back to last night 11/22 ran a couple hundred miles with another central driver that was fun, we both shut down at the same TS and spent the night. He even sprung for dinner. Thanks Pete!!.

Ok had to get up at the butt crack of early, drive from Oakley,Ks to La Junta, CO all backroads, got to the reciever early, found out they HAD plenty of truck parking I could have spent the night there, so my 14hr clock was screwed. Apparently appointments don't mean anything as it's FCFS there were a few trucks ahead of me. But their forklift was broken so they were using a borrowed hand jack to unload the trucks. I was there for 6hours. Let my DM know I wasn't going to make my next 01 170mi away.

They had me go there anyway, I ended up only being 2 hours late, but the place I went had sent my load to a different facility and that place was closed by the time I got there. So now I can't get loaded till the morning

So here I sit in Center, Co at least they let me stay on the property. It's too dang cold here, I need to get back to the south where I'm supposed to be!!!

MMMMMM. I love homemade donuts. Did you do fried or baked? I've done both, and I like fried better. Some balls of bisquik and powdered sugar or cinnamon simple yet oh so good.

Speaking of donuts, got a message a driver in my fleet had a rollover today, while eating trying to take an exit. He's ok, but BE CAREFULL out there

I used to have rose colored glasses, but they are now cracked and discolored. Fortunately for me that happened long before I started my driving career.

Had a nice few (much needed) days of hometime and an early turkey dinner. Begin the adventure again tomorrow with a 99 in PA.
