Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

Figures... I'm trying to get out of Ohio tonight.

 

Maybe the OH DOT will be all tuckered out by the time I get moving out of here tonight.

Looks like it's another night of truckin thru the midnight hours.

what is home time like with Central Refrigerated Service? could someone please tell me

 

One day off for every week you are on the road up to a maximum of 4 days. You have to let your DM know 9 days in advance

 

ok heres how it works you get 1 day for every week out up to a max of 4 days off if you work 3 weeks out you get 3 days off if you stay out 4 weeks you get 4 days off if you stay out 5 or more weeks you still only get 4 days. now if your on a dedicated fleet and each one is different i am only going to tell you how the kraft fleet works because i am on it. you run for 2 weeks you take a manditory 2 days off every 2 weeks it is written into centrals contract with kraft. now if you live in the area of one of krafts facilites they try to route you thru so you can at least get a 10hr break in at the house. it doesn't always work out that way but they do try to do it. i live about 7 mi from kraft in norcross ga and i see home quite often. now if you go lease /op you need to stay out as long as you can and only take minable time off because those lease payments are still coming due even when your at home so you need to stay out and bank some money so you can make the payment on the truck when you decide to take off. if you take off more than 4 days it is company policy to reseat your truck to another driver. they have got to keep the truck moving. hope this answers your question.

 

i know where your coming from jess you got to do what you got todo in order to survive nowadays i hate it for jj cause i know how much he loves trucking if central would wake up and take care of the people who take care of them. and get rid of the lazy and deadbeat drivers there would be enough miles so everyone could make a decent living instead of being forced to lose everything you have worked for in the past because you cant make enough money to pay the bills. this would be a much better co to work for. i just hate it for the new ones getting into this espically the ones with familys and mortgages and stuff cause they have no idea what is fixing to happen to them. but hey nobody will listen to you anymore so let them find out on their own. and ill be the one to say i told you so. iam only saying this because i have been there and you and jj have been there and alot of drivers that used to be on this thread have been there. and people wonder why the company has a 110% turnover rate....................... heres your sign people..............................

How many week out at a time?

 

Well 1bad is off and running again. Will be back on Tuesday to pick up his truck from the body shop.

They are calling for snow and sleet here tonight. We shall see if that really happens. Kinda hard to belive when the high on Monday is back to 68. God you gotta love the south.
