I see Central advertising for training in Chicago Illinois.

Do they have a location in Illinois "again" ?

I will call but would like to hear if anyone on here knows anything about it , before they BS me.

    drivers,

Im thinking about Central as a Co. Driver. I already have my CDL and have OTR experience and 2yrs Active duty Driving Exp. What would I have to do to be a solo Co. driver with this company after orientation. Thanks

I already have my CDL A, so I don't have to go to their school. Even though I graduated less than a month ago they still want me to take their "refresher" course of 4 weeks, sign a contract and pay them $23.07 a week for 44 weeks which is just over a $1000.00.

The main reason I got my CDL at the school of my choice is so I wouldn't have to sign a contract.

I have heard both bad and good things about Central Refrigerated. So I'm just wondering if anyone else has had to make this decision and regretted it not. Central is certainly not my first choice. KLLM and WSE are ahead of them so I'm not going to jump on this unless there's no other choice.

Thanks for any and all advise.

If you just got your CDL, then I wouldn't sign a contract to pay anybody. You've already accomplished that task so find a company that will hire newbies w/out trying to twist your arm...
