Hey Brickman81, I'm sorry to hear that! But there is always a But, they have changed in the last year, the idling policy, days you can have of for Holidays and weekend staff in the office are a disgrace.

Maybe the CEO needs to get his head out of his butt and start looking at the problems.
Get some new weekend staff, Geeeee maybe someone who has actually been otr.
Most of the larger Companies are the same as Central so good luck with your search when you change.

Well as ya probably guessed I'm home until after Christmas!! And hating it, I didn't know anyone could get this bored at Home:biggrin_2552:.
Tink had to have her back leg operated on yesterday and needs to go back to the Vet in two weeks for a check up.

JJ picked up a load in Boise yesterday and headed to Illinois with it, The Freddy load worked out pretty good he got to have a ten hr break before delivery so he had plenty of time for the three drops and three drops is better pay.

The E-logs are still a pain in the butt you have to correct your logs after your drive time, but he is getting used to them.

Jess, thank you for the updates. Please keep them coming.

Those of you who moved to Electronic Logs-- are you seeing your miles drop because of the E-Logs, or are they just dropping because freight is slow?

They had the same holiday policy last year.
I took off for Christmas anyway. Took 5 days, and they did not make me unseat.
When I took a weeks paid vacation this last summer I brought the truck to the terminal anyway. I flew out of Atlanta to save on money, but they did not make me unseat then eather.
It is luck of the draw I guess.
Just have to put in for the holiday time off way in advance. Espically if you are on a dedicated acct. Because on Kraft I know they only allow a set number of drivers to get it off. If they reach that number before you request it you are SOL.

Hey Chrome, Good to hear from you!
They can hardly unseat us as JJ leases the truck and I have told him to just take an extra day or two as he was fleeced out of his thanksgiving home time:biggrin_25510:
We put in for Christmas back in October as we have the whole family coming here for Christmas (Nightmare) got a message back saying only 4 days could be approved.

Paul, JJ's old trainer got 5 days approved but I think he let them know if he didn't then he would be bringing his truck back, (they would have lost a lease operator and Trainer)

When we go to the soccer games at Dick's Sporting Goods park we usually stop by Central's Henderson yard just to see if there is anybody we know there.

If you feel like PMing me your truck number then I will look for you when we are in.

P.S. Thanks, Lilbit for clarifying for me.

    Sorry, folks.
I found out we shouldn't post truck numbers but are allowed to PM them to each other from here.

My bad. I forget that this is a public forum that anybody can see.

Thanks again, Lilbit, for the clarification.

Hey Lastkid I'm sitting in Fort Morgan right now be here till Thursday Am hope things are well and how about the SNOW got my clean white truck all dirty hehehe. Elogs aren't that bad and I can still see 600 miles in my 11 but my D/M dosen't give loads that are more then 1100 miles. Came here from WA 1,116 miles backed up with 542 miles. I told him I wanted to get down to Fontana to talk to the F/M i'm ready to quit. I'll wait 1 more week if things don't change i will be gone by the end of the year.

Turkey day was GREAT, thanks for asking. You must be at the beef plant in Ft. Morgan. Been there many times.
My favorite thing to do was to walk into town for a bite of lunch. It is about a mile and a half from the beef plant. Good stretch of the legs.

And Sixpack (and everybody else) you can now see my old cabover!!!!!!

If you get dispatched to Longmont Foods, you will get off I-25 at exit 240 and go west about 6 miles. Halfway to Longmont Foods, look to your right and you will see a dark grey cabover with a flatbed trailer on back loaded with hay. That's me!!
