Yes. Central transport is a bottom feeder company imo, theyre like the cr england of ltl

 

I was with Central years ago, when they were still Teamsters, and they sucked back then. I can't imagine any improvements over the years.....

 

Straight BS . Federal law exempts interstate trucking companies from paying drivers overtime , thus mileage pay for OTR drivers , but that exemption extends to P&D drivers by default . Companies like SAIA , YRC . ABF , XPO , Estes , etc who are interested in keeping good drivers disregard that exemption . Bottom line , the law doesn't mandate when you CAN pay OT , for interstate companies , there's no mandate at all .

I have a few buddys in thr LTL business....everyone says stay away......im currently trying to get into ltl......interview next week!!

 

I wouldn't say stay away, LTL can be a very rewarding job, with the right company.

 

Stay away from central lol....i have an interview at an ltl company next week..
