I have spoken with CFI recruiter. Looking for driver's experience with CFI regarding their school, training, trainer, miles, hometime, etc....The whole gambit.

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

They have like three or four options for the school around Joplin.
Training is like 15000 miles if I remember correctly?
It tends to go a lot longer than that, they like having a truck they can use like a team and not pay team pay.
The trainers are mostly older guys some of them not the cleanliness but they try to make sure they're not scum bags.
Miles depend on how you run, they dispatch at 55mph so you usually have plenty of time.
They're not a terrible company but not the best either. They'll serve you well for a year till you can find something better.Shadalee Thanks this. -
Anybody else ?

I would definately recommend not going to CFI. Pay is one of the worst in the industry due mainly to consistant low miles; of course, the low mileage pay doesn’t help either. All you have to do is read other posts on this CFI forum. All the drivers, and I do mean all, have all left, mainly due to the consistant, low pay.
Shadalee, Southeast Trucker Mike and Hottub Thank this.
