I just noticed that , anyone know why? I liked knowing what the freight was before calling them.

Spoke with someone on their claims side... Some "organized crime families" managed to create a software program that farmed all the information on all open load boards. Any high-weight shipments of expensive commodities (copper, electronics, etc) would be of interest. I think they impersonated about 5-6 loads and showed up @ shipper a bit early. Picked up the cargo...never heard from again. Advertising to the entire world (its the internet) that you have a 1/2 mil of watches or a few tons of copper ready to load ASAP is the equivalent of dropping the soap in prison

You still have to figure out who is shipping and have a load number of some type.

More likely because of people like me that can look at a city and a product. Then with a little research I can figure out the company and prospect them as a direct customer.

Not that I have ever done that.
