Nobody will turn down money. But the point is, everyone is paid for what they do in one way or another or else they would go somewhere else.

I agree. If a driver is happy working for nothing that's his choice and I wish him well.
If he gets tired of working for nothing there are other, better, jobs out there.

I agree. If a driver is paid so little that he needs to worry about chain up pay, he is probably at the correct pay level. I wish him luck

I honestly can't remember the exact number. But it was on top of my 70% as an owner operator somewhere I don't work anymore

I just need to make sure that my drivers never see this website lol.
If i had to start paying extra for chaining up, and such, it would be better to shut the lights off, lock the shop door, and take up knitting scarves as my new job.

Driver's there still make less then your employees.

The hourly part, they didn't take a cut of was the bonus for owners

I can guarantee that at my last job, where I had to work for free, as you put it, to chain up, that I probably made more money that most of the companies that spell out every little thing that they paid for. Sitting wasn’t an option for us, if the road was open it was expected that we chain and keep moving.

When people complain and get what they’re asking for many times the company makes it up somewhere else. But nobody ever seems to figure it out.
