Just depends on the day sometimes. If you really know your chains and have a nice set, then shorter times. If you have to fight them then it’ll take awhile

I used to like to watch the old timers when they'd hang their chains back on the racks. They had a certain way they did it and it worked every time.
They had them set to just peel off there and go directly onto the tires...duals or singles, it didn't matter.
No screwing around untying tangles or ends that worked through. No big wad of chains from a bag.
Those old guys had it figured out. They could be chained up by the time the rookies got their galoshes on. I got some good schooling just by watching.

LTL versus truck load. Yes LTL more profitable. Freight costs are scattered over a wider customer base. Versus a truck load of widgets from 1 customer who still needs to be able sell at a profit.

Yep, takes me less than 30 min to hang iron
And be rolling. Takes some 30 min of staring at the big lump of chain trying to unravel it. Then they go flying by. Chains s flopping beat the equi to death, blown out tires and or chains come off wrap around the axle and break air lines or brake chambers off. Interesting show to be sure

I don't drive very often but last week I ran a couple loads. Got stuck in the driveway with everything locked up. Literally took less than 4 minutes to throw a trygg chain on 1 of the drives and drive out. Less than a minute to take it off and hang it up.

    Its not hard.

Singles are easy as pie to avoid it being like a nest of snakes.

Dual chains I don't want no part of. Pain in the rear and always a mess lol

They're easy to mess up and that's a fact. I found that the more hang points you have when you put them away the better they come back off the rack. Those three point hangars are alright but five or six is better.

A few times I've not even hung the chain, just laid it in front the drives and let the tires drag it under at idle and walked out

    Rugerfan Thanks this.
