yes we do, and it's spreading to Nebraska and Wyo. Nebraska is busting a lot of smugglers with "medical marijuana" being resold, of course Colo. isn't helping them. recent bust of a grow operation, several key players, a couple of dispeneries turned up a Columbian with a tourist passport in possession of several firearms with ties to a Columbian drug cartel.

Friend who lives in Sac. commented in FB earlier that Grapevine was closed, she's got the rest of the month off and was planning to leave for Reno. Delayed a day or two now.

probably used to run blocker..haha. For every busted drug shipment, im sure there are at least 10 bigger ones that get past. It's amaing the money we dump into law enforcement and drug interdiction and there is still so much drugs on the streets and our neighborhoods. Simply unbelievable.

The chaining/ bad weather topic came up on a FB page, The Truckers Lounge. As you can imagine, "real truckers don't throw iron!" is the overriding theme. Same ####, different drivers!

Hmmm... got 1/2" of no appreciable accumulation so far tonight in Springfield MO. Pretty much dry roads but real cold from Abilene north. "Real Truckers" don't throw iron, huh?

Dang... sure glad I'm not a "real trucker" then.

It's the same old story, IP. The ego can't admit that someone else has a broader skill set, and therefore anyone who doesn't shut down or who willing throws iron to continue their trip is obviously unsafe. I think we had the same ijits ^up there^ somewhere. :biggrin_25511:
