Sounds a little kinky to me!!!

Tire chains are for the tires, and for traction.....but if it was necessary to chain up that "other person"....better to be the chainer than the chainee in my book!:yes2557:

I think that is dependent on just who the 'chainer' is! :biggrin_25522:

Over Vail on 70 last night... EB... Both grades had to chain up with 11 miles between you didn't HAVE to have chains on...

Got to try out our new chains (On Spot)... AWESOME!! Both axles done in less than 15 seconds... Only got wet to visualize and make sure they deployed (since it was their maiden voyage)... Yeah, they were a chunk of change, but not having to get cold and wet, or taking an hour or two... Well worth it! (We are 'older' and want our 'comforts' - LOL!)

Livingston Montana, sunshine and blue skies. Need chains to remain upright and planted to Terre Firma. 70 - 80 mph wind gusts depending on what weather site you trust to be accurate.

had to throw a couple of chains in green bay to get from the building to the trailer with the ice
but we cheated and jacked the truck off the ground first

headed up US 85 this morning for a 6 am appt. in Cheyenne, got as far as Pierce, Co. when my 25,000 lb load decided it wanted to go to Nebraska without me. Turned around and headed back to Denver, decided it wasn't that important of a load. We cancelled and rescheduled 9 loads going to Cheyenne today as a result. I see MVT lost one SB 25 by Buckeye Rd., and another 12 vehicle pileup caused by dust on SB 25 So. of Pueblo closed the highway. Yeah, they recorded winds in excess of 100 mph that closed US 285 between Kenosha Pass and Fairplay, as well as the closure/restriction on 25 and 80 in Wyo. Mom nature is on a rampage at the moment.

yep, tis why I love my chain boards, on Friday I would have thrown two sets of chains and been rolling in under 13 minutes if it wasn't for the tangled chains, good thing I carry 6 singles, the two tangled ones went back on the hooks, will sort those out sometime this week.
