Dodge the "bullet" today...Went through Vail before it started snowing and....CDOT was warning about heavy traffic from Silverthorne...

No problems up to the Divide....And just a little slow though Dumont to the Tunnels in Idaho Springs...Rest of the way was smooth sailing...

Wind is blowing hard in the Plains...Rocking my rig with 45K on the wagon, like I was on a boat in the Catalina Channel....

 

Ran empty to Rifle early in the AM, picked up 42k, caught the start of the traffic on 70 climbing to the tunnel, dropping off Genesse, my fan hub decided it no longer wanted to participate, it also convinced the fan, serp. belt, and fan drive unit. Left me on the side of the road till the boss came and got me. Today, it's sitting in the shop, new water pump, fan, tensioner, idler, hub, awaiting fan drive unit. Boss decided was also a good time to put new front brakes on and fix my mystery exhaust leak.

 

BTDT...That sucks.....
